Wednesday, December 11th: 6 - 8 PM at Cool Cat Collective
FREE event for community members to help and learn to build winter cat shelters for outdoor community cats! Completed shelters will be donated to cat colonies in Long Beach & Compton. We will have at least two instructions options for building winter shelters so that we can utilize various donated materials.
Materials we'll be using (any donations/loans greatly appreciated!)
-Flat pieces of Styrofoam
-Styrofoam coolers
-Plastic storage tubs & lids (18 - 30 gallon)
-Straw (NOT hay)
-Duct tape
-Small empty plastic flower pots
-Sharpies (loan)
-Box cutters (loan)
-Hair dryers (loan)
Please RSVP so we know how many people will be coming and can prepare materials accordingly. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
