Please do not ask for exceptions to the rules. They exist because our top priority is keeping the kitties safe and happy :).

We carefully curate all of the art and products in our shop: everything is cat-themed and made by small businesses and artists that have a deep love and understanding of cats. Please note: if you don’t concentrate on cat-themed art or products or really love cats, our shop is probably not a good fit.

Cool Cat Collective is a group effort of cat lovers, cat rescuers, animal welfare workers, artists, and community members. Our goal is to benefit both cats and artists through exposure, community education, fundraising, and collective action.

We host adoptable foster cats from TippedEars in our space and donate a percentage of profits from sales to local cat rescues. Additionally, we regularly host cat-centric community events.

TippedEars is a non-profit group rooted in the belief that we all have a responsibility to be part of the solution for cat overpopulation. Tippes Ears focuses on community cats since they are key to stopping the never ending cycle of kittens being born and dying in the streets and shelters. In their efforts to TNVR (trap/neuter/vaccinate/return) community cats they often come across young kittens, friendly cats, cats with medical needs or injuries, and others who would benefit from an indoor environment. These adoptable kittens and cats are who you will find hanging out with us at Cool Cat Collective!

So glad you asked! Community cats are cats that live outdoors in our communities. Most are born outdoors into colonies that either have a human feeder or have found a strategic location (think behind a KFC) to scrounge up their own food. Some community cats are feral, but this is a behavioral description and is not applicable to all houseless cats, so we prefer the more accurate term "community cats."
